GB man under medical supervision after apparent suicide attempt

A 28-year-old Grand Bahama man is under close medical supervision following an apparent suicide attempt on Wednesday morning.

According to police, around 10am, officers responded to reports of a man seen walking along Columbus Drive with visible neck injuries believed to be self-inflicted.

Emergency Medical Services were called to the scene, and the man was transported to Rand Memorial Hospital, where he remains in serious but stable condition.

Police believe the man attempted to take his own life using a sharp object. Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
