A 17-year-old boy was charged yesterday with the fatal stabbing of his brother in Grand Bahama earlier this month.
The teenager appeared before Magistrate Uel Johnson in Freeport, facing one count of murder in connection with the May 17 incident.
Police allege the teen stabbed his 26-year-old brother during an altercation at a local resort.

Three days later, he was rushed back to the hospital by Emergency Medical Services due to severe complications. He required emergency surgery but died while in hospital.
The juvenile was not required to enter a plea to the murder charge.
He was remanded to the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services until August 8, when the matter will proceed by way of Voluntary Bill of Indictment.
