A 47-year-old man was remanded to prison on Friday after he was accused of having unlawful sexual intercourse with a 12-year-old girl three separate times this year.
Prosecutors alleged that Jerome McIntosh, of Sea Breeze Lane, committed the offences between March 1 and 31, on June 12, and between July 21 and 26, 2025.
McIntosh was not required to enter a plea to the charges during his arraignment in the Magistrate’s Court. The matter will proceed to the Supreme Court through a voluntary bill of indictment.
He was first brought before the court on September 2 on a single count of unlawful sexual intercourse with the same minor.
The magistrate advised that McIntosh must apply for bail in the Supreme Court. He was remanded until January 13, 2026, for further proceedings.
