A MAN admitted to repeatedly punching a coworker in the face after claiming the man nearly struck another coworker with his vehicle on JFK Drive last week.

Bervin Brown Jr, 34, pleaded guilty to causing harm to Aleran Woodside on August 22 before Deputy Chief Magistrate Shaka Serville.

Brown told the court he had caught a ride with Woodside that day but complained about his speeding and demanded to be let out of the vehicle.

After getting out, Brown claimed he saw Woodside nearly knock down another coworker with the vehicle.

Brown said that after Woodside stopped, he opened the driver’s door and punched him more than once in the face.

Brown was granted a conditional discharge.

And he is expected to learn the terms when he returns to court on September 10.

Inspector Cordero Farrington prosecuted the case.
