A MAN is awaiting sentencing after admitting that he breached his Supreme Court bail conditions by failing to sign in at a police station for 57 days.

Anthony Joseph, 26, pleaded guilty before Magistrate Abigail Farrington to violating his bail conditions.

Joseph failed to sign in at his local police station for 57 days between May 9 and September 17.

He was on Supreme Court bail on charges of possession of a firearm with intent to put another in fear and assault with a deadly weapon.

Joseph was remanded to the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services until October 1, when he is expected to be sentenced.

Reserve Inspector Deveaux prosecuted the case.
