THREE men were accused of possessing a firearm and ammunition after police allegedly found a pistol and 17 rounds during a search of a Grosham Close residence last week.

Prosecutors allege Andre Pierre, 21, Terrano Russell, 21, and Johnathan Hepburn, 21, were found with a black Taurus G2C 9mm pistol, 17 rounds of ammunition and a black 9mm Taurus magazine during a police search of the residence around 4.30am on September 17.

The firearm was allegedly recovered from a pouch in the front room, while the ammunition was found in a second pouch during a further search of the residence.

Pierre, Russell and Hepburn pleaded not guilty before Senior Magistrate Algernon Allen Jr to possession of an unlicensed firearm, possession of ammunition and possession of a component part of a firearm.

Each defendant was granted $9,000 bail with one or two sureties and must sign in at the Carmichael Road Police Station every Monday through Friday by 6pm.

They return for trial on February 23, 2027.
