A WOMAN accused of stabbing her housemate during an altercation on Hanna Road was remanded to prison yesterday.

Prosecutors allege Lisa Alouidor, 24, stabbed and injured Jevaun Cordza around 7pm on September 17.

Alouidor pleaded not guilty to causing harm before Deputy Chief Magistrate Shaka Serville.

Inspector Cordero Farrington objected to bail, citing the seriousness of the allegation and raising concerns that Alouidor and the complainant share a residence.

Alouidor was remanded to the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services until Friday, when she is expected to return to court for a report on whether an alternative living arrangement has been found.
