Funeral Service for the late Rayford Rolle age 85 years old of #7B Bakers Street and formerly of Old Bight, Cat Island who died on Thursday October 18th , 2012 will be held on Saturday November 3rd, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Baillou Hill and Wulff Road. Officiating will be Canon Basil Tynes assisted by Fr. Roderick Bain. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens, JFK Drive and Gladstone Road.
Left to cherish his memories are his beloved Wife: Hilda “Goldie” Rolle; Five sons: Van, Geoffrey, Alonzo, Keith and Derek Rolle; Two daughters: Suzanne Rolle-Wright and Sophia Archer; and one honorary daughter Rosie Bowe-McPhee; Two (2) brothers: Alonzo Rolle Sr. and Kenneth Rolle; One (1) sister: Palace Robinson; Two (2) sisters- in- law: Princess Grant - Butler and Erma Grant – Sweeting; Three Daughters-in-law: Carolyn Rolle, Ruth Saunders-Rolle, and Deborah Rolle; Grandchildren: Silbert Ray Evans, Jay King, Brantin Wright, Bethsheba Haven, Melanie Rolle, Michella Forbes, Sisily Johnson, Shakera Stuart, Sheena Gilbert, Geoffrey Rolle Jr., Tierra Rolle, Charles Archer, Joule Archer, Alzarrio Rolle, and Juston Rolle; Great Grand Children: Tyesha & Tamia Johnson, Caitlyn & Trinity Haven, Hailey Gilbert, Jaylan Stuart, Chad Rolle, Christoph Hall, and Elisha Rolle; Nephews: Rayford and Reginald Rolle; Nieces: Enid Jones; Other relatives and friends including: The Butler Family, Knowles Family, Saunders Family of Bimini, Mackey Family, Nixon Family, Captain Hayward Bowe & Family, Jones Family, Barry Family, Kenneth Thompson & Family, The d'Albenas Agency, Tropical Shipping, Betty K Agenices, Staff of Nassau Underwriters Agency, The Baker Street Community, St Barnabas Parish, Norma Newton & Family, Evans Family, Allan Family, Jamal Stuart, Paul Haven, Terrel Johnson, Ornal Gilbert, George Ian Hilton, Dave Forbes, Beryl Poitier and Janet Philippe and Kenneth Brown and host of other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
Viewing will be held in the Perpetual Suite at Restview Memorial Mortuary and Crematorium Ltd., Robinson and Soldier Roads, on Friday from 10:00am to 6:00pm and at the church on Friday from 1:00pm until service time.
