A Memorial and Celebration of the Life of Stanley Fernander Jr., age 77 years, a resident of #11 Saxons Street, and formerly of Cockburn Town, San Salvador, will be held on Sunday March 6th, 2016, 11:00 a.m., at Grants Town Seventh Day Adventist Church, Wellington Street. Officiating will be Pastor Barrington H. Brennen, Pastor Mark Ewen, Pastor Erick Clarke, Pastor Leonard Johnson and Pastor Peter Joseph. Cremation was held.

Mr. Fernander was predeceased by: his son: Clyde Fernander; parents: Edith and Stanley Fernander Sr.; siblings: Edris Emily Fernander, Henry “Preach” Fernander, and his nephew: Roy Fernander.

He is survived by his wife: Gertrude Agatha Cyrus-Richards (nee O’Connor) Fernander; siblings: Pastor Roy Milton Fernander, Maxine Fernander Rolle, and Keith Fernander [Dianne]; children: Pancheter Barbara “Penny” Alexis of Philadelphia, Ian B. Scott Fernander [Julie], grandchildren: Donald “Toosey” Alexis & Georgina Alexis, Khyyn Fernander, Bryndyn Fernander, N’Nhyn Fernander & Khalil Fernander; great- grandchildren: Kenneth Stanley Alexis, Nicholas Alexis & Brittany Alexis [Donald], and Bianca Alexis [Georgina]; nieces & nephews: Edith Renée Fernander Byrd, Angela L. Fernander Ray, Dr. Anita Fay Fernander, Paul Fernander, Harvey Braithwaite (Denise), Sharon Braithwaite, Rowena Rolle, & Verneek Rolle [Maxine]; Vernetta Fernander Saunders [Henry]; cousins including: Wellington Fernander (East Street), Wellington (San Salvador), Patsy, Doreen, Catherine McPhee, Ivy Knowles, Brenda Hart, Sally Fernander, Millicent Williams.
