She is survived by her three sisters: Enique Backford- Farrington, Endrenise Backford-Babb and Eldira Backford; one brother: Juan- Mario Backford; grandfather: Charles Mickinney; three aunts: Stephanie McKinney- Rolle, Lilymae Lockhart and Ruth Turner; two uncles: Charles and Patrick McKinney; and a host of other relatives and friends.
