SIXTEEN Bahamians were honoured on National Heroes Day yesterday. Receiving their honours from Governor General CA Smith at the ceremony are Order of The Bahamas recipient Algernon Allen, Order of Distinction recipients Leon Livingston Smith, Eugenia Cartwright, Mary Johnson, and Robert Sands, and Order of Merit recipients Percival Andrew Knowles, Patricia Glinton-Meicholas, Al Collie, Reverend Copeland Morley, Mother Vivian Cox, Celestine Eneas and Willard Rutherford.
