I disagree with the BCC when the PLP held the referendum/opinion poll, and I disagree with the BCC now.
We should have supported a national lottery when Mr. Christie gave the people the opportunity to do so. But I am a minority and the majority voted the opposite of what I did during that referendum/opinion poll.
I understand the whole setup with permits but the problem is... how in the fuck can you fast track this nonsense when you have stated months ago that immigration has more than 10 years worth of citizenship applications spilled all over the floor and in several boxes in several rooms. You have a complete systems failure in your portfolio so I don't know how you can announce "fast-tracking" of anything.
eradicate customs and maybe I'll go for it. Also need legislation that allows the death penalty for those that abuse public funds. IF you fill your pockets at the expense of the country and the people then you should have your assets seized foreign and domestic and you should be out to death.
You steal from the public purse then you die. With that in place then I'd be open to new taxation. But until I see new fiscal responsibility legislation then I don't support taxes of any kind. This is a game for these guys and gals and the average Bahamian is the sucker getting taken for a ride. I'm tired of that nonsense. Make an example out of most of them and then we'll see integrity in public office.
