Conflict of interest as a Cabinet Minister which is absolutely disgraceful and disgusting. I wouldn't be remotely surprised if the AG is right up in this as well.
But who am I kidding. this is the Bahamas, his constituents won't care and Bahamians in general won't give a crap.
If former Cabinet Ministers can be tied to the cocaine trade back in the day and still win their seats, then it doesn't matter. We NEVER vote based on facts, performance or policy issues. We have only vote on emotion and who pays us.
Bahamians don't care. another downgrade is inevitable and the economic situation will continue to deteriorate. There will be no balancing of the budget under the PLP either. I also have no confidence in Minnis and there is no hope for Bran and the DNA.
Bahamians have NEVER voted based on real issues and policy decisions and we surely won't start in this election cycle either.
Just how Bahamians look down on Haitians and Jamaicans for seeking a better life here, other will look down on us for seeking a better life elsewhere.
This taxi system is stupid. To improve it 1. Let drivers own their own plates (not people who never drove a taxi in their life and rent plates they inherited)
2. Move towards Electric cars to eliminate the cost of fuel.
3. Have charging stations at the Airport (jumpstarting a green policy).
4. Create an App to let ANYONE call a taxi at anytime, thus increasing their customer base.
The taxi cab Union is nothing but a mob and the taxi plate business is a racket. Taxi's suck and public transportation sucks.
But why complain, it hasn't been changed in 45 years and it will never change. The Bahamas will remain stagnant forever.

And watch as Fitzgerald wins his seat again, and the AG remains AG while living in her fabulous Lyford Home and continues to cut deals.

Yeah but we've had observers before though...
Also, in smaller countries this is a rather normal practice. Even Turkey had observers present in their referendum Sunday gone.
Also, why is Dinosaur Roker even in the news. His political career is over and he should remain in retirement and enjoy his family.
