Working with Monty for the past few months has definitely been nothing short of an amazing experience. Before agreeing to pose as the Junkanoo Nymphe, I had never realized how much effort and care went into creating a piece of art. Monty is nothing short of a brilliant artist with a creative mind. Most of the work we did together took on average 8-9 hours to complete, which only encompassed the painting and not the photo-taking or events following. Being the Junkanoo Nymphe has been a completely transformative experience, and I always enjoy the pleasure of working with Monty, who always has a vibrant attitude,positive spirit, and is always good for a laugh. I am always grateful for the oppourtunity to showcase his designs but also act as an ambassador for Bahamian arts and culture.
