I agree with you "One" We have been independent for a long time and what have we accomplished ???? We are dependent on many countries for our food, fuel, cars and the list goes on and on! Which country was first to land on Abaco and Freeport after Dorian and We want to become a Republic, why. Be careful what you wish for.

Well muddo sic now I see why the port was finally doing some general maintanance and clean up around Freeport ! The Duke and Duchess are going to visit, here it is I thought the port was doing what they supposed to do!!!!! LOL

How about an airport????

Short memory also, Freeport/Grand Bahama was devistated by back to back hurricanes in 2005, since then Freeport has been on the decline! I think the first thing that needs to be addressed is the airport. Give the people of Grand Bahama a decent airport.

They cannot interpret the English language, what part of "Low residential 1" can they not understand??

It does not only happen in the public service it is rampant in private business, I see it every day as an employer and it is most frustrating.

I will believe it when I see it. The port has no interest in either the hotel or airport, as I see it the port has no interest in Freeport other than bleeding what they can from business owners and GB U. They are responsible for maintaining the city but do the minimum!
The airport is where the present administration needs to jump on and get the process started! Grand Bahama deserves better!!!!!
