Correction...VAT is calculated at the time the invoice is cut...has nothing to do with when the customer actually pays. The day that invoice is cut, it falls in that periods VAT payables to government.
Anything is possible...guess it also depends on if they have insurance or not. The building was stripped so bare there really was not much to insure. Or they could just be giving the big middle finger to the former City Market employees. Pure speculation of course. Could very well have been some drug junkies or scrap metal people up to some mischief in there.
So, question, if this building is the last physical structure of sorts that has any value to assist the shafted CM employees and pension fund...could be someone's final statement to say now you ain't got nothing...
I do agree Tal...it would be a very risky proposition...he may just snap from all the foolishness that would surround his tenure...BUT...I think the two of them would make an excellent team.
