That's why I prefaced it with fragments of stories...don't wish any of this on my own worst enemy...but, sadly, knowing our country and culture at the moment, much like one of our 'tabloids' I can give this some credibility, more than a random killing/failed robbery attempt.
Fragments of stories I've been hearing...missed most but picked up on bits...someone in prison had a beef against him, or his bigger family...guy got out of prison and things started happening...his car got torched, other things...he rented a car to lay low but they ended up finding him. Not too sure what the connection is with the convict, but guessing that individual will be going back into HMP pretty darn quick.
Amen to that...hence why more often than not, it is pilot error not mechanical. Another one is, there are old pilots and bold pilots, but not many old bold pilots. The mechanical problems lead you to the NEXT phrase..."Aviation is hours and hours of boredom punctuated by moments of sheer terror!!"
I've seen firsthand what it takes to jump through the various hurdles to get yourself licensed and maintain that status with CAD...the hackers don't have what it takes to pull that off...mentally or financially...pretty certain you'd see a lot of them fold up shop if pushed down that path...which is probably a GOOD thing.
While I support the prison staff trying to fight for their rights and causes, the Doctors in this country are incredibly deceitful in this respect...I have staff tell me that they know of numerous Doctors that they can just walk into the office, pay $5 or $10 and get a random sick note, without actually have a check up or diagnosis from the Doctor. I guess it's a spin off of the whole double dipping mentality amongst other things.
