Yeap...only hearing what he wants to from these so called consultants!! FOIA is VITAL to our government(s) falling into line and doing the right thing.
If they have not increased their prices in a couple years, then fair enough, lots of increased taxes and costs have come into play before vat...thanks to our government that promised no new taxes...HA!! Now...expect fully that even those businesses who cannot charge VAT because they are not registered or do not qualify, to fully up their charges. Their landlords and everyone else will still be charging them VAT, so their cost of doing business just increased...so boom...they gonna pass that on to you.
Blah blah blah...whenever these little sick outs take place the first thing the higher ups say is the workers won't get paid...but what ends up happening, whenever they settle their disagreements the union has talked management into paying them anyways. Place your bets.
They don't want people to find out the full extent of it and get more up in arms about it then they already are...keep the people stupid, just get it in place, then tell them after the fact just how bad it really is and that it's too late to do anything about it or argue any very valid concerns.
Agreed...calling it a 'sick out' and claiming the pilots were too stressed to fly just rubs more salt in the wounds. What little respect I had for the Bahamasair pilots is gone for good now. Can them all...unload this poor excuse of an air carrier onto some poor unfortunate private entity. I'm done having to pay my taxes to subsidize this crap.
