It definitely would be a sight to see that is for sure!! So many damn back door deals and kickbacks (in both parties), once the masses started digging into that info there would probably be riots and mayhem!!

I would much rather have a political party, whichever party it is, have multiple candidates for the parties leadership...that's why you have conventions and present your candidates to your followers, let them decide who is beat to lead the party of their choice. Now...if that party gets elected to power, I would want all the party members full support for the duly elected leader during their tenure. But if you are regrouping and strategizing as an 'opposition', sure, throw your hat in the ring and shake the party up a bit, you may be surprised at how it all turns out.

That's when you do what happens in the US and put a clause in that must be put into play, by uttering the words such as 'state of emergency' or some sort of disaster declaration that THEN triggers a floodgate of sorts for extra funds to flow to the needed areas. Really quite simple. Only problem would be these jokers would be declaring a state of emergency every 2 seconds after a simple rain squall so they could open up that cookie jar!!
Oh gee...didn't see THAT coming at all...at least they are being honest about it NOW...and not just springing it on people a couple weeks after the roll out...so let's see...VAT meant to start Jan. 1st...rate increase will be Feb 1st...
