Sadly Rory...that's about what it is coming to...only problem is the 'law' are just as corrupt and crooked as the rest!

Yeap...I'm the owner of a business that employs a couple hundred people...I can honestly tell you that I am looking at options for shutting the whole thing down and leaving my homeland for greener pastures.

Sign of the times...business licensing has more than quadrupled in the past couple years. Very quietly they upped business license fees AGAIN...guess they are trying to get one last suck out of business license fees before they 'promise' to do away with them with the incoming VAT...yeah right...still gonna be paying those fees plus vat...may as well close our doors now and call it quits...add another couple hundred people to the jobless queue on the streets.

...merely a flesh wound...just causing a bit of harm...nothing to see here...no need to add it into the violent crime stats!!

Any real estate deal and his commission comes straight out of the proceeds of the sale...end of story. The lawyers should be disbarred for misappropriated funds in escrow...mainly his commission.

One of the gotcha's with the legislation they are putting forward is they will have immediate and uninhibited access to your companies operating bank account...what THEY think is the right amount of VAT to be paid to government they will automatically deduct it from your bank account...if there are errors or corrections, you need to go through a process to reclaim it...NICE

I just have a really hard time with that concept...if I come at someone with a knife and stab them, or point a gun at them and shoot them, that is attempted murder. It's not like you got into a fist fight or something, that is attacking a person with a deadly weapon. Pray tell...are the 'lesser' charges grouped into the violent crime category statistics that they are bragging about...or do some of those go under the radar?

'Conflicted'...in reference to PGC that is about the funniest dang thing I have read all day. The ONLY bright side to this 'new' confliction is that he is seeing and hearing the people finally speak louder than him with regards to VAT being the wrong form of taxation. But then again, the people spoke loudly about the numbers houses and he is dancing around that resounding no to make it happen despite what we said...so who knows...the man ain't right in the head, that is for sure.
