Sweethearting meets a dead end...guessing the 'female friend' is linked to the shooter somehow...maybe wife or lover, who followed her to this guys house...just a hunch!!
Ahhhh yes..this is one of those stats the great commissioner was so happy to quote...all these murders solved...and all these murder accused getting acquitted and set free by the courts. Good policework gentleman.
Funny...encouraging the government to willingly break the laws of this country and violate even some of the most basic civil rights as laid out by our constitution...man...I back you 1000%...go ahead, break those laws, we don't mind...we encourage you to do so even...in fact, while you are at it, you may as well ignore any law that seems to impede your political agenda. Rock on guys!!
What they NEED to do is weed out the corruption in the police force and immigration and have them do their jobs...I have dealt with LEGAL Haitians for a while, they tell me every day that some of their friends that are not legal get stopped regularly by the police and immigration, and it is a shake down, the police and immigration will let them go it they happen to have $50 or $100 in their pocket...some even joke that it happens near the weekend when they police know the guys are getting their wages and they say the cops dem want dey beer money. Start by fixing that problem first, because National ID or not, that will still take place. and the haitians will stay and multiply.
Absolutely unreal...mount up people, this VAT thing will be an epic disaster. The government don't even have their systems in place yet to manage it, they won't let people know how to structure their business and allow them time to set up their systems until a short 2 months before the go live date. In some instances, with international orders, and even new car orders, it can take anywhere from 3-4 months to get the merchandise you ordered, and you are meant to make those business decisions without knowing what the market and duties, and everything that goes along with that is going to be? VAT is NOT the solution...the government is deliberately keeping this thing under wraps and is going to jam it down your throats if you don't rise up and say something about it.
The flaw with the bonded warehouse concept is, every time you transfer your own merchandise out of bond and into your live inventory, the government is going to hit you with a processing fee on top of everything else they are charging you for that merchandise the first time around. KMA!
If an election were to be called now, I know for certain I would not vote PLP, and about 99.9% certain I would not vote FNM...they'd need to pull some small miracle out of their backsides to prove to me they have what it takes to govern again...in their current state, I do not think they do.
There is currently no law in the books that forces you to carry anything 24/7...the only law of sorts is that when asked by an appropriate official for your proof of status, you do so within a 'reasonable amount of time'.
