Just let the damn local consortium of waste management companies do what they have been asking to do for years and manage/improve the site. Enough of this crap. This is no longer a way to scheme and figure out how best to line your pockets. There are good honest people out there...locals...that can and will do it...starting immediately.
They did a small customs drop what, a year or two after VAT was introduced...promised more...but nothing...in fact they have increased duty on some items...
MP's got their kickbacks...they already spent that money...won't be able to repay the man when he comes knocking on the door after his project gets shuts down. Same with Nygard...LOTS of MP's are VERY wealthy because of him and will protect him at all costs.

That's the way they roll. Just embarrassing now that around the world, in the press, we have the Prime Minister of the Bahamas standing there with his finger in the air. Disgraceful. Time and time again, the man has proven lack of leadership and should stand down...this gesture just cements that fact. But, as the PLP go, they won't resign over anything, no matter how much ill repute it brings upon the country.

Quit beating up on the people who DO pay their taxes by increasing the taxes...make the non-payers pay...politicians and their families included in those that MUST start paying their bills.
