It is very sad when anybody, regardless of who they are, reach that greatest depth of depression and feel that suicide is the only solution. Sympathies to the family members. Mortgage situations...wonder if he was holding out for da PLP to provide mortgage relief...
It is true that there are next to no checks or safeguards in that respect...just like anybody can hop in a car and drive it off without a license or insurance, so can someone in a plane, only difference is you are likely to kill yourself and others faster in the plane if you are not qualified or trained properly. At least it appears that this guy did at one point hold a valid license so did have some training. Still, I can almost guarantee that if a sweep was done of every single aircraft flying in Bahamian skies, you would find a good number of 'pilots' without the proper qualifications to fly the aircraft they are in.
Yeah...look at where Majority Rule got us...buncha dishonest crooked politicians padding government jobs with worthless employees and making the Bahamas one of the most expensive places to live in, in the world...all the while we are pumping out thousands of children each year from school with failed grades and poor attitudes. Majority Rule...something to be oh so proud of...
