I believe there is a shut down time of 1am or 2am in the law...but it is ignored...often with said nightclubs being protected and secured by police officers acting as bouncers to the club.
It's not just a white community and it's irrelevant that you even had to go down that path. Guess you missed the part though that it was construction crews, in which case there is zero wrong with the mix of police and construction personnel in and around that scene.
Very terrible weekend. Definitely set to blow away all murder records in 2015. The PLP who had the answers should be VERY proud. As for the overweight police officer...in my thinking, it all comes down to officers being armed with guns. now, don't get me wrong, I think they SHOULD have guns if they intend to have any chance on surviving the streets of today with heavily armed criminals. But back before the officers were armed, they needed to be able to catch someone in a foot chase, stand their ground and fight if need be and subdue someone not quite wanting to be detained by the law. Now with guns in hand...they can be that little bit slower, that little bit fatter...bullet faster than ya feet!!
And thing surprises people? I'm surprised he was even allowed to tender a bid. I know people who have been flat out refused a bid package to even tender a bid, when they have done government contracts before under the previous government and come highly recommend and do the job right the first time. Flat out refusal to give the man bid papers. Unless you are PLP they don't even want to give you the opportunity to bid on it in the first place.
