Based on last comment that there is only one Mako Boat involved and the body of one of the missing was found “under” the Boat “submerged in water”, one is led to now presume the Boat turned over and the other missing person became separated from the Boat. Nonetheless, this is merely further speculation and one can only hope that whoever is responsible for reporting this Story can provide a more accurate account of what information is known.

According to this Reporting, 25’ Mako (Manufacturer) Boat leaves Lowe Sound on 25th December (Christmas Day) with two men on board for Northwest Channel Light (35 miles away) intent on fishing. On 3rd January (10 days later) one of the two men is found dead on a 19’ Mako (same Brand of Boat) 18/20 miles off Morgan’s Bluff (presumably in the Tongue of the Ocean). Where did this second smaller Boat originate from and who is the Registered Owner?

I Second “Mudda” on that! The United States (with Donald Trump as President) was there for us like no other Nation in our time of greatest despair ... “ever” ... in the history of The Bahamas ... let no Bahamian EVER forget such generous assistance for which will be forever grateful.

Lack of Security has been the single biggest issue post Hurricane. After 5 trips into Marsh, Dundas and Murphy, I have “yet” to encounter a single Policeman or Defence Force Officer day or night! Not one, if they are there Lord only knows where?!? As for looting, at this juncture, there is little left to loot, save for Looters looting Looters! This regrettably is now historical fact and no degree of spin, excuse, explanation can change this reality. Sad reflection of our People and a Country supposedly marching on to glory.

Good to see he was celebrating while the supposed people he cares so much about suffer, indeed it makes me wonder if the "paraglider" was not one of the Vultures (perhaps an Italian Cousin) currently circling The Mud that simply wised-up to be used for personal self interest and decided to shed it's load out of basic moral and ethical pride?!?

Would seem there is a little more to this than a difference of opinion between the founding principals as to how best to use charitable donations to warrant the Attorney General getting involved?!?

The Bahamas owes the United States of America a huge debt of gratitude, as without the Coast Guard support provided, ultimately authorized by Trump, Abaco would have no hope! On behalf of all Abaconians, Thank You USA and Yes, Thank You Trump, you have a Friend in us, but you already knew this long before the Storm, so Thank You for saving your Friend and ultimately helping us ... Make Abaco Great Again!

Please put your Black Crab back in its Basket, as this is no time for divisive political commentary, as Minnis gave one of the most uniting and inspiring addresses of any Prime Minister yesterday from Marsh Harbour when he said in facing this Storm we are not PLPs, FNM,s, Black, White, Resident, Visitor, Hatian, Bahamian, but Humans within The Bahamas for which he bears responsibility. As for Abaco, it is inhabited by the strongest, most resilient and independently minded people we have, who will not only survive, but rebound and indeed post AIM are capable of supporting not just themselves, but carrying the rest of this Country on their back, if ever need be ...
