Everything bad that is "foreign" (drugs, poachers, illegal immigrants) comes from the South, so relocate the Defence Force and all its equipment to Inagua, along with a Supreme Court and a Detention Centre/Jail, which will in turn bolster the limited economy currently reliant on the salt industry on this otherwise desolate Island.
Serious consideration, if there exists such a thing in this Country, should be given to having his QC Appointment revoked, as he has embarrassed himself, his Party, his Country, The Commonwealth and in turn, The Queen from whom such Appointment originates by insulting such a privileged anointment through exhibiting pure gangster ignorance, which many have known of all a long, hence surprise at Appointment in the first place, but alas it is The Bahamas. In any event, may well be the first time revocation has ever occurred, but until such actions are taken against people who clearly have no self respect, much less for Others and Country, how on Earth can we expect to make our little Country better?!?
Strong argument, if in fact he was the only Applicant to establish himself after the Sector was made legal! Further claims he refused to "tip", giving him a degree of "integrity" in a business where such a word appears impossible to reconcile with other Operators who have supposedly been "vetted" and "approved".
I agree, the Laundry Man should stay out of big business and stick to ripping off the poor! Very irritating to read commentary from one responsible for the mess. No one in the Government was a "paid" supposed "professional" Director, but he was and failed to such an extent that if he was in the UK, he would be disqualified from holding such Office most likely ever again. Fact that he was Head of Chamber of Commerce simply further demonstrates how backward and desperate we are with a "D" Average intellectual population.
Well, based upon the reaction to this ridiculous suggestion, not only would I say whatever political aspirations Wayne may have had are "dead on arrival", but he may well be the first Bahamain to have their QC Appointment revoked for espousing such utter nonsense. I suppose even he is a product of Generation D Average, hence even our "supposed" smart Cookies are in reality dumb, dumb, dumb Coconuts!
Unbelievable, just read CNN Article where he goes on to say He has "nothing to look forward too"! How the mighty have fallen. As for "Albany", the coverage has been disastrous, with last year Winner Jordon Spieth just describing "live" on NBC the Course as "extremely" easy, akin to a "pitch and put"! Do not think I have ever heard such commentary in connection with a PGA Tournament. Worse from a Country perspective, a shot from Bubba was described as coming out of the "desert"!!! Please just have someone stop the coverage, as this is potentially worse for "our Brand" than even the out of control crime and dysfunctional political climate we live in, which remain for the most part unknown to the outside World.
Would appear from the reporting that this Course is far too easy and not up to par for the Pros. What is further interesting to note is how poor the "Resident" Pros, Rose and Scott are doing compared to the "Guests". One would have expected them to have a huge advantage from having played the Course on a regular basis, but apparently not?!?
The coverage certainly does not portray the beauty of The Bahamas at all. Distinct lack of vegetation makes the place look more like Dubai, but without the fancy buildings, so more like some sort of odd military compound with all the darkly painted tin roofs. Again, very poor representation of The Bahamas and truly amazing that people have been willing to invest from all accounts "serious" money into such a concept when there are so many other better options available for much less. Just proves, notwithstanding The Great Recession, how many suckers with money are out there still willing to drink the Kool-Aid! Presumably, easy made, easy lost. In any event, hopefully any future golf coverage will be from Ocean Club, Lyford, Exuma or Abaco, all of which are truly beautiful courses in far more attractive locations. Dare I say, even poor old down trodden Freeport would show better!
