I wish I was an oil company executive... other end of the wealth spectrum unfortunately.

Are you suggesting this poll could be like the environmentalists kill the drill petition that was circulated via WhatsApp outside the Bahamas?

Oil will be phased out, where possible, in 40-50 years time.

Personally I would like Exxon to partner with the Bahamas Petrol Company and develop the industry.

It’s a new argument every week.

I predict next week it will be something like.... BPC’s office is not painted the right shade of pink therefore an oil spill will definitely occur.

Some vague rubbish like that...

The government should be clear - lets support oil drilling and economic prosperity.

The BP spill was 10 years ago - they were drilling in the high pressure zones in the Gulf of Mexico. The geology near Cuba has a lot less pressure and is therefore much safer.

Hundreds of oil wells are completed safely around the globe so we need to keep a clear mind and evaluate the pro’s and con’s.

Is this just a PR stunt by Fred Smith?
