Why are these guys even in our country? Any oil belongs to Bahamians period. Don't try to sell us something that we already own please!

Campaign finance reform is the root problem, because there are no campaign finance laws and any contractor can pay a politician one million towards his campaign in exchange for an inflated and unnecessary ten million dollar contract. The VAT money is spent on crony contracts after the cronies "bribe" the politicians and this is currently legal as long as they say put this million dollars towards your campaign.

Many Bahamian politicians are enemies of the people. It's time for Bahamians to realize this. Until we have campaign finance reform, they are just guns for hire to the highest bidder. No democracy really exists where this much private interest is involved.

The only thing we have going for us is the IMF and financial downgrades to maintain fiscal restraints. That shows you how little both the FNM and PLP actually care about The Bahamas.

Minnis is playing a game of chicken with the Bahamian people. The headlines should read, "Minnis Mocks Bahamian People!" This callous, thick healed, man cares nothing about his promises to The Bahamian people. Without Campaign Finance Laws The Bahamas is DEAD. There is nothing more important for The Bahamas. Nothing. Without Campaign Finance Laws any politician can be "legally" bribed at any time under the guise of a campaign contribution. Giving a briefcase full of cash to a politician in The Bahamas is completely legal under this system. Minnis was elected to change this system of corruption. His refusal to do so reveals him to be an enemy of The Bahamas and its people.

This is where the FNM has failed the Bahamian people. We all knew the PLP was terribly corrupt; that's why we voted you in despite your leadership weaknesses. You had one job to do: pass legislation to prevent a future corrupt regime from ever doing what the PLP did again -- Campaign Finance Laws, Freedom of Information Act etc. You failed to do any of this, so you are, in my view, worse than the PLP. You lied to us! You promised change but gave us more of the same.

Why don't they tell us the exact number of short range and medium range drones they purchased, so we can look up the prices on Google?

FNM how dispicable and petty. Just admit that the FNM has gone down the drain.

North America experienced its first coup d'état today -- congratulations Democrats for acting like a third world country. Nothing to see here. The impeachment was null and void in any event, because it was in breach of the constitution's requirement for high crimes and misdemeanors. This standard was not met, because Trump did not commit a criminal offense. Keep America Great.

Yep. This is it in a nutshell. All of a sudden a $1 candy bar costs millions to replace. Suspicious.
