I want to know who the middle man is? Also, I heard on the radio Government paid 5 million for 500 cameras. This means each camera is 10K. Seems like a crazy valuation. CCTV Cameras are probably only a few hundred these days. Padded contracts and unnecessary middle men are corruption and the same as stealing in my books.
I agree completely. Call us racist or xenophobic if you wish. All we want to do is survive and Haitians pose a serious threat to the economic survival of our country. We are not afraid of you calling us haters. We see with our own eyes that our country is being invaded. If the FNM can't see it, then that's on them. We will proudly be called the names you call us, if it means addressing the issues and saving our country. We already know the battle is lost. We already know the invaders have succeeded. We know that this country will in the next decade be a Haitian governed country. Nothing you can call us is worse than knowing we are transforming into a Hatian territory.
Time for Bahamian leaders to stop seeing this country as their startup get rich quick scheme IPO. It's a country; that's it. If you want to get rich, start a business and do the hard work.
I would have to agree with you that these were not his remarks. These remarks were likely the result of months of planning behind closed doors with Minnis, his cabinet and the Chinese. The wording was tweaked by experts to sound harmless and logical. In actual fact, the concepts espoused in the speech come straight from the China Belt & Road handbook. These are China's words. They are clear and concise to anyone in the know: the Minnis FNM is joining China's Belt & Road global hegemony and allowing them to millitarise the south east Bahamas complete with warships, nuclear subs, advanced radar and probably drones and fighter jets. This is spitting in the face of the US that has warned against this course of action and aided us so much with hurricane Dorean. This speech has been in planning for years and has nothing to do with hurricane Dorean; in fact, it may have been agreed as part of the closed Baha Mar deal. Look at the large size of the Chinese delegation! (Dr Dafend and a 14-member delegation). This plan is likely already in the active stage and building has already commenced. The people must protest. These statements must be retracted ASAP.
There you have it folks. Selling out to China. This gentleman offering China a "deep water harbour" in the south east Bahamas is code for saying we're fine if you put a naval miillitary base there. These fellows are unreal! No loyalty to the US at all. No loyalty to Bahamian sovereignty at all. Bahamian leaders have become so darn lazy and unindustrious, they're basically begging to be enslaved and colonized, instead of developing their country themselves.
Moving forward, the Government of The Bahamas will have to address the fact that the Haitian people have weaponized immigration and weaponized reproduction to overthrow neighbouring countries. This is intentional and by design. In Montreal, I am informed that Haitians control the taxi service and only hire Haitians. Bit by bit, piece by piece, they are conquering The Bahamas. They have already, basically, monopolized the public health and school systems. Haitian gangs are controlling our streets and inner cities. They also appear to have infiltrated our Government at the highest levels. The status quo cannot remain without dire consequences for future Bahamians.
Jesus said "Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's; and to God the things that are God's." At the end of the day, what will happen in this matter will be determined by the Government and the Government alone. No lawyer has any real power. If the Government of the Bahamas choses to be overthrown and dictated to by a foreign power and its people, only the Government will be responsible and to blame.
The main reason we would go bankrupt is that we have a huge outstanding national debt that requires constant servicing, due to corrupt and imprudent spending of funds post majority rule. The Bahamas should have kept spending low and lean, then there would not be such a fiasco when hit by hurricanes that are common to this area. There is a reason in the past these islands were intentionally kept sparsely developed by Britain.
