How convenient for the thieves!!! Zero accountability. 300 million stollen from the treasury to cover the tracks of thieves and not a single individual prosecuted!!!. "He added that BOB was 'digging itself out of such a deep financial hole' that the $300m-plus of taxpayer monies used by successive governments to bail it out will never be recovered."
Instead of becoming more progressive and exciting over the decades, I have witnessed the Bahamas shrink into itself and become the most boring and regressive place to live on the planet. If only our politicians went to better schools and received a liberal arts education!
If conch are so plentiful, why are they serving baby conchs at Nassau Fish Fri? The employee laughed when I asked about the tiny size of the conchs. He said we call them whelks, which is the name for a much smaller snail.

They may be trying to implement a new type of bearer share, so companies can be transferred simply using tokens in order to hide ownership. Of course, this would just lead to blacklisting.
It seems that only when the US is involved is there a conviction of white collar crime crime in the Bahamas. Those that prosecute crimes in the Bahamas appear to simply not possess the intelligence or integrity to get a single white collar crime conviction on corruption. It is out of their intellectual league. From now on, either the US Feds and US prosecutors are involved in building and bringing the case, or it is likely going to be a waste of time and end in an aquittal.
