Same exact thing is going on in South Africa as The Bahamas. I have been reading the posts. Here is one:

We knew, we’ve always known. The thing is that everyone who can do something about it has their hand in the pie already and everyone who calls them out about it is “racist”. We live in a fun country, to say the least.

Edit:

Let me say this... Ethics are determined by what is socially acceptable in the environment that you are in. Whether overtly stated or subjectively implied. We have to accept that it is common practice in South Africa to be corrupt and it is socially acceptable to be corrupt, because the evidence shows the majority of our officials act in this way while the public condones it.

You’re only in the wrong when you “get caught” or are someone else’s scapegoat.

South Africa, has too much riding on people acting honestly and too few people doing so. We’re off the precipice and free-falling at this point.

In my books, this is de facto evidence that the FNM are thieves. No further evidence is required. A 3 million dollar heist.

OK then London School of Economics. Any degree that shows an authentically intelligent mind and not one of these internet schools.

So it begins. The true plan -- a feast for FNM cronies, like a giant decaying whale carcass where Great Whites feed. Riddle me this: Who in their right mind spends millions to fix up a property, if they already have a list of serious buyers? Will these millions be added to the purchase price, or will the Government just swollow the losses?

Becoming a colony again would be a Good send, but black politicians are too used to stealing millions to ever let that happen.

We know what we want. We want a well oiled machine of uncoruptable persons to run this island with complete transparency. We want persons that are legitimately good at governing and dealing with money and accountable to the public. We want persons with degrees from Harvard and Columbia. We have not been given what we want. It's like going to a jewelry store to buy a diamond ring and being offered apples and oranges.

Me too. Big time. Minnis is like a channel your TV is stuck on but will not change, so you end up turning off the TV and throwing it in the trash.

The root of the problem is both FNM and PLP represent themselves and their own private personal agendas when put in office, not the interests of the citizens. For all the taxes we pay, the people of the Bahamas still don't have a horse in the race or even a seat at the track. This is unacceptable!

Why not try find the relatives if the owners have passed. This is stealing!
