I give Minnis a score of 0 out of 10. I cannot think of a single thing he has done right. I honestly am speechless about how bad Minnis is doing. He should step down or a vote of no confidence.
Agreed. In my lifetime I have never seen a bigger faker and con artist than Dr. Hubert Minnis. He tricked an entire nation and was so synical that he knew nothing would be done to stop him. He must believe Bahamians are dumber than worms to think he could construct a fake personality and message "it's the people's time" and completely change back into a corrupt majority rule politician once elected. He still has a bit more time to change my opinion by passing strong antibiotics corruption laws, but I highly doubt it.
How much are tax payers paying for this "crappy" product you described? If it's any more than a few thousand, ditch it and let a private bank manage the trades.
Have you not read the article? Sure, things have gotten better, but both BTC and Aliv are fighting for their life. BTC is hemorrhaging clients and Aliv is drowning in debt. The status quo cannot last indefinitely. At some point, one of the companies will go belly up and then the monopoly will lead to price increases and poor services once again, except this time the owners will be private.
This is why I was against selling BTC and opening the market. The numbers (client base population) just weren't there to have a thriving competitive marketplace. With markets this small, there will always be a monopoly. I would rather the monopoly be owned by the Government and all the bahamian public than a few private players. The service has changed, but it hasn't changed that much.

When the time is right. So, that's his new slogan: It's the people's time, when the time is right.

I agree with you about What'sApp. Many people now only use WhatsApp to make all their calls.
