We will have to divide the island up into sectors of 2,000 persons. Persons in each sector cannot leave that sector. Everyone in the sector is tested and the positive persons are removed to quarantine hotels. Eventually, all sectors on New Providence will be tested and the infected persons removed from the general population.

The only way forward is island wide testing and to forcibly isolate those who test positive in a seperate building, such as an empty hotel. Otherwise, we're going to be trapped in this cycle of new infections for years and the country cannot afford this. Bahamians do not understand how to quarantine or keep social distancing; it is not part of their culture, which is to huddle in groups. We are wasting time with this approach.

Will he ban imports of toilet paper next, so locals can sell banana leaf?

This is very sad news. I guess the only way forward is to bring masks in from China.

The best way forward is to test everyone on New Providence and seperate those found infected from the general population.

We are going to have to open huge food kitchens with beans and rice to keep the people fed.

That the UK did not bring supplies shows that every country in the world is in the same boat. For the first time since Independence, The Bahamas is on its own.
