These guys wont stop until the government is completely broke and underwater. Taking the pay cut may reduce the chances of layoffs which at this point is likely. The government has little revenue.

Alot of Bahamians live paycheck to paycheck.
Whether she has a child or not, she represents a portion of the population that are in real trouble if the economy doesn't pick up.
If the economy doesn't pick up and people cant feed themselves, crime will go up, possible riots?
The Bahamas is in some serious trouble if the government doesn't have a plan.

How can a company that has decades of monopoly on a basic necessity that all people need have trouble with finances? What a joke.
