I think I agree with you...they can barely track known criminals. The Bahamas government does not have access to that type of technology. Furthermore if they did I think they would have already used it as a political ploy.
Actually it isn't a mess...people who complain are those who don't want to be responsible for their own healthcare if they are working. They rather receive a free handout from the government as to oppose to actually being responsible to pay for the care themselves.
welcome to the wild wild west...i feel like everytime I read the papers I am transported to watching an old country western film. Gamblers cheating in the saloon and get shot or stabbed...LOL!!!

They need to start making these companies responsible for paying for health insurance for their employees. If you work a job where you have more than 30hrs a week health insurance should be mandatory. The employee would pay into the health insurance programme and the employer would pay whatever premiums.
As usual Bahamians are once again given a trail of breadcrumbs that lead nowhere and off they go chasing the wild goose.
Does anyone seriously think that the government of The Bahamas is illegally spying on anyone? I would like to think that if the government had access to that kind of technology and the ability to successfully operate it they would use it to better the nation. Think of how many drug deals, murders, and other illegal activities they could possibly stop if said technology existed in The Bahamas.
But then again when as any government ever done anything to benefit Bahamians. For all we know they are deliberately contributing to the crime. (just playing devil's advocate).
A foreigner shouldn't be allowed to own anything in the Bahamas, whether it be property, a restaurant, or a grocery store. But of course money buys anything and everything in the Bahamas.
Good job by her and I am sure her parents are proud as well as the whole of QC. However, since when is the Bahamas an Indian country...we being represented by those of Indian nationality, this should be shameful to students of original Bahamian descent. To have the foreigners come in and have to represent the Bahamas. SMH!!! And no one will see how this is fundamentally wrong...
