The PLP & FNM politicians have major roles in fueling this discontent & have received the rewards of keeping the masses ignorant & government dependant. Ignorant uneducated people are easy to control, so major investment was never made in ensuring all Bahamian Children received proper education. Nor was serious measures put in place to deal with issues of family planning or illegal immigration. They all made deals with foreign investors or criminals so there families prospered @ the expense of the nation. What we see on the street is the result of a history of selfish criminal minded politicians, so i'm shocked at his comments but I should not be. He has told so many lies & manipulated so many that he has become delusion, therefore in his head he believes he and his colleagues are victims. We now have to contend with the dysfunction that originates from corruption, bad financial decisions, poor education, drugs, family planning, illegal immigration etc. Stop bitching u made your money of the dysfunctional environment but what u never figured was that in the future crime would be at your door step.
How about empowering young people regardless of gender.. Great that she is helping girls but one of the most neglected members of our society is young boys. Look at the numbers, dropouts, incarceration, murder, suicide, every negative statistic shows the deep neglect for boys. This is feminist garbage....
He's the lesser of many evils, i'd take my chances with Minnis over many of the other politicians. Fact is he's a terrible politician & that's why I like him.. The more i study the situation people like Minnis can play a major role in the solutions. Unfortunately charisma wins over actual substance and character. Guys like him and BJN are just in the wrong positions & should never be politicians. Their craft is medicine not telling lies all day or stealing from the people. These men are qualified to perform in true professions in the private sector. They talk out the Ass many times but i never group them in with the usual PLP or FNM career politicians..
PastorTroy, u summed it u. Ideas are badly needed from Bran. I saw him go back & forth in parliament with other politicians & saw arrogance not an articulate planned return from a lawyer. Along with the ideas u need young, new, qaulified, innovative, respectable people, to lead. But with Mr. Roberts on board the DNA is now a force..
U can pull up missing children on NCIC in U.S from any state , bolo's are put out daily through email & on mobile unit. Its 2014 RBPF time to move into 21 century. So much incorrect information given from people working for same police department.
Incompetence, 1st police interviewing a minor without the presence of their parents. 2nd RBPF is one police department why is wanted persons not in data base to be processed at any police station in the Bahamas. 3rd why have this man running around he provided all the information necessary. 4th signing over minor to strangers should never happen especially when father has identified himself & his child. This girl obviously has issues but RBPF need to get their act together..
When dealing with these high profile investigations involving high ranking members of government with responsibility of the publics trust, one would think a Police or A.G's Office press conference to address the citizens concerns would take place. So if there is nothing to hide police press conference in 5 4 3 2 1 oooops my count down button must be broken.. Lastly when generating a warrant a probable cause statement of some sort is usually included and since this is public record, black out the name and address & post it so we can read the fact, its 2014 people time to open up this closed up system so the public can make decisions of who's right and wrong for themselves. post the warrant we can read it for ourself.. furthermore since bob is a government entity post the books so the public can read, other than personal data general numbers can be posted.. open the system & cut out the b.s.
