Well, it's common knowledge that you better not invest into the Bahamas. You only end up getting robbed, having to bribe officials and ultimately just take the loss and leave the country again.
Also, the way Bahamar was handled by the government won't be forgotten - it's a good example what can happen to you if you invest into this shithole...
I used to pay 500$ for the temporary residencies at the immigration office. One year we didn't pay and it took 2 years, so by the time we got the cards they were expired already. It's better to pay the bribes, then it only takes 2 weeks max.
The first thing that comes into my mind when i read that twat's name is "Investors, bring money - shut up". And then i get this little smile because i already pulled out everything from the Bahamas a year ago while at the same time i feel sorry for all the people that still have to deal with that stupid prick.
It's common knowledge that for whatever you want to do in the Bahamas you need to have your little stash of 'incentive' money to speed up things. If you don't have it they'll run you dry...
Not all work is noble and beneficial to society - that's just bullshit. And these are certainly not factors to consider a job - especially for young people. The issue is that you do not teach your kids how to reach their potential, how to figure out what they want in live and how to archive that goal. Your education system is abysmal - and high unemployment is the outcome.
I don't see how 250k should make a difference. You lure people with 500k into the country without processing their residency applications so how should 250k bring any change? At this point I'd rather advise people to pay the demanded bribes than investing.
