There are a gazillion different areas of Biotech, the majority of which wouldn't even touch the subject matter of viruses. It's unlikely that neither your niece (imaginary or not), or any of her professors would have anymore than just a basic understanding of viruses & air flow mechanics.

That's exactly her point. "They" shouldn't be wasting precious time making sure everything was in accordance, that is the job of the PAC. New government should be sprinting out of the blocks looking for new investments to reduce the national debt, not expending valuable time & resources on what has been. Like most government reviews, two weeks will soon turn into 2 months & then 2 years.

PLP have never had a better chance at getting the Bahamian population on their side. 5 years will come around much sooner than they think. Given how things move like molasses in The Bahamas, I can see history repeating itself, yet again, in 5 years time.

Totally agree with your last paragraph, but what's the chances of those happening ?
Also, most of those Bahamians who earn less than $20K, don't find it difficult to find the $ to buy the latest Smart Phone, Tennis or expensive hair weaves/extensions.

Sure, but a government lottery will net the government far more than they get in taxes from Sebas & Co. IMO. They could even have both going at the same time.

When are they going to introduce a Powerball type lottery. The part of the proceeds the government keeps won't pay of the national debt anytime soon, but it will be substantially more that they get from the numbers boys.
