It's been a long season then. Flu season doesn't last anywhere near as long as COVID has. The time of the year for Flu season is also different depending on which hemisphere you live in. COVID has been in both Northern and Southern Hemispheres constantly for over a year now.
About 3 weeks ago, you stated that your earlier projection that the virus will be gone by the end of month was about to be proven correct. Well, that virus better pack it's bags and get gone in the next 7 days
I also like to think I have pretty decent critical thinking skills (unlike some) when it comes to determining which articles are trying to be informative, versus those that are looking to skew (or miss out) certain information in order to generate viewers/readers, so that they can continue to reel in the advertising dollars to satiate their corporate greed.
You won't catch me quoting anything from CNN, Fox or any of their ilk. Not denying that I don't read them, but I generally take them for what they are, which is not a news source anymore.
Only time will tell if it was $150 million well spent, or not. I'm going to look at this in terms of the glass being half full, rather than half empty. I would hate it to go the same way as The Royal Oasis, which is a massive eye sore because no-one (including government) was (or is) willing to do something with it.
*He said of this number, 150 persons that participate in the trial would have had to test negative for the virus, while the other half would have had to test positive.*
So they need 150 who *previously* tested positive or *currently* test positive? To be comparable to PCR I would have thought it would have to be the latter, in which case it might take a lot longer than a month to validate the equipment.
Tribune, may I suggest next time you try asking some pertinent questions before posting.
You would have thought Cable Bahamas could digitally track which are the most watched channels in The Bahamas. They can then get rid of all the surplus crap that hardly anyone watches. Alternatively, they could offer an a-la-carte plan where the customer can pick & choose a set number of channels for a fixed monthly fee. I doubt there are many people who regularly watch more than a dozen channels out of the 200-300 currently offered. Most of us here probably grew up with 3 or 4 channels on the TV at most
