I used to walk on Bay Street downtown frequently. I have seen males rest their empty beverage bottles on store window sills without missing a stride. I think it is a natural trait in the DNA.
So the justification for the $500,000 is that the repairs are overdue? Good lawd!! It must be ok then since the cost of the repairs were added each year they weren't carried out. Next year it would be another $100,000 added on. We should be grateful that the money is being spent now.
I don't have a problem with inspections if there is suspicion. I don't think there was suspicion in this case. Immigration will create a bad image if they plan to show their weapons and lie about not entering a private property with video proof confirming otherwise.
Perhaps not all Haitians live in shanty towns but I have never heard of any other nationality doing the same. Latinos and Filipinos pay rent and utilities contributing to the economy.
