It identified instances where former Executive Chairman Leslie Miller allegedly “influenced procurement decisions” for the awarding of contracts “or circumvented the process entirely.”
@Well_mudda_take_sic. Are you so blinded by your intellectual dishonesty, that you now substitute your thoughts for the words written in the article? SMDH!
I am guessing that the Commissioner's own words, being a man of integrity, and Dames' confirmation should end the speculations of the 'Bird-Brain' and others that he was forced out by Minnis. This makes me wonder about all of that other rubbish you spew in these columns.
Brave may have intervened to cancel the award of the contract, but this does not exonerate Leslie Miller from having awarded the contract in the first place. It would appear that the story is about circumventing the bidding process by Miller and awarding the contract to a PLP-connected contractor. How could anyone miss this is just beyond me!
Some of you never cease to amaze. When the topic is about health initiatives, you talk about jobs. When the topic is jobs, you talk about Minnis' weakness on immigration matters. Is this a sign of ADD?
@Well_mudda_take_sic. You are so full of yourself! Look around, my fellow blogger. You are in the minority. Most Bahamians are light years ahead of you and can see right through your BS; no matter how you dress it up. There is no doubt that you are still getting over the trashing that the DNA and PLP took at the polls, but please accept that the FNM were elected and given an overwhelming mandate to govern this country, despite your out of date logic. Just suck it up and live with it! You got almost 5 years to go. This mean that we will just have to endure your putrid bile for this period, but so be it!
Fred Mitchell is dead wrong on this one, as he has always been on most every topic that pertains to the well-being and uplifting of this country. I guess, welcome to Bradley Roberts lite! Any Bahamian who does not believe that Bahamian women are entitled to the same constitutional rights as their male counterparts, needs have their heads examined. Of course I understand that some of you see every every action of this government through PLP shaded lenses. For you, I feel sorry. However this country will march boldly into the 21st century with or without you.
Anyone who suggests that $28,000.00 is a fair salary for a member of Parliament in the 21st. Century Bahamas is being ridiculously silly. No wonder these guys try to enrich themselves through other means. Of cours their salaries should be increased!
This is certainly an historic move, and one that is long overdue. For those of you who claim that this PM has no balls, this move certainly disproves your line of BS.
@Reality_Check. The new Commissioner is Anthony Ferguson. I guess your arguments are a bit diminished when you can't even get the new Commissioner's name right.
