So is it really "better in the Bahamas".....uh, no! Not by a long shot! Add on the risk of robbery, death, poor service, high food cost, crappy transportation, pollution, and lacking utilities, phone service and the Bahamas is more of a "place to stay away from" location. Wise up Bahama government!
So the rules don't apply to you then Mr. Smith? As quoted: The laws say Real Estate Brokers & Salesmen Act 1995 required BREA to publish an annual listing of members who were current and in "good standing" with their licence fees, not those allegedly delinquent or behind on payment" Delinquent/aka "not current in payments"=not good standing.....pretty clear there sir.....
Great news! Finally someone telling the truth that no one (bahamians, the government, etc) wants to hear or acknowledge. But "truth shall set you free".... I have to say that while there are a few smart exceptional individuals, such as Mr. D’Aguilar, (and even a few younger Bahamians coming up in business and even government) the majority are ignorant of the facts, could care less about the nation/people, are self serving and do not/can not see long term what is being done to this nation. We can only blame Bahamians for bringing/allowing politicians to be treated as demigods and not held accountable for their actions. A political process that is flawed and antiquated....all add up to a doomed country.
Just another nicer way of say "oops, sorry folks. We don't give a crap. Your out of luck for getting anything out of us, cause we knew we were in the wrong while doing this shady business".....same crooks handing out justice are same crooks ruining this country...
apparently Breezes lawyers haven't had a lot of real world litigation experience if they believe the developer’s approach is “simply unheard of”.....then again how many here in bahamas really are excellent lawyers anyway.....
Guess hotels/resorts could just shut down, fire everyone then have government come in and run them much more efficiently...just like they do everything else, right?! hahaha...(ok, i'm joking)....unless the government gets their heads out of they A** these resorts/hotels will find more favorable places to go, thus taking jobs, income, tourist with them...(but maybe that's what the government actually wants....)..."Government" another word for "idiots"...
