A country is only saddled with as much debt as they willingly seek to borrow.
USA is the master of economic terrorism , either through funding or sanctions.
It's the USA we need to fear , lest we want them to help us like they're helping Venezuela, and many others before
Just imagine if they wanted Minnis out, they could place enough sanctions to ensure we can barely import food and fuel, "all in the name of helping us get a better leader"; meanwhile we starve
Ever heard of China doing that, or any other country for that matter?
“You have 14 percent duty on the tyres, a $3.50 environmental levy tax, then you have 12 percent VAT, all on tyres."
“If we could bring in tyres duty-free, I could reduce the average price of tyres by 30 or 40 percent."
Two quotes from Mr Moss as found in this article. Notice he thinks that duty on tyres at a rate of 14%, if this were eliminated he could reduce tyre prices by 30-40%.
Either he almost triples the amount of the duty and fits this in his tyre markup, or?
He can't think clearly! Perhaps this is his problem, and not what the "government is doing for him".

All western "democracy's" have been hijacked; the parties (usually on 2), the ruling class , and their media have complete control of who has a chance in the runnings.
If an outlier , non chosen one throws a hat in the ring, the media will ensure there is no chance of success.
Western democracy is a sham, the charade is simple , there are two sets of idiots (criminals) , the people pick one .
Nothing about our system provides a legitimate democratic outcome.
It's a well established system, ample has been written about it, and it will not change without some serious uprising that includes much bloodshed.

What difference does it make if you take a paid vacation now or bank it.
Who cares, it's the same math.
It's "paid" vacation
The government lives by kicking the can down the road, ie borrowing.
Arguably better for government if the bank vacation.

Maybe let's go back a little further and repatriate all non Indians back to Africa.
Our ancestors were bought as slaves and they had kids and eventually claimed the Bahamas
These Haitians are here working like slaves (without chains
). And they have kids and are conquering "our" land.
What's the difference. A few hundred years right?
Slavemasters don't like there slaves to live one their own street. Right.
It's Bahamians creating the demand for the Haitians.
