they are generally paid what they're worth. Go look in the hospital and watch the nurses, 90% obese, standing around, gossiping , or sitting on they're asses.

You are so right. Sadly this is in our nature, in our blood , in our society and our government. We are a nation of disgusting and morally bankrupt people.

The amazing part is that so many espouse such pride, so many cry about immigrants, so many cry about being wronged. When in reality, we have nothing to be proud of. We should welcome all immigration, legal or not, as it's simply impossible for anyone who comes here to be worse than a Bahamian.
We have become the lowest form of life / society since independence.

I'm sure mother England is glad to be rid of us!

what do you mean "can you trust ALIV"?

Can you trust BTC, as business that survived and thrived when it took advantage of us based on it's monopoly.

And besides that, what do you expect from ALIV; I assume you want your phone to ring when a call comes in , you want to get your email and search online via data, what's to trust, if these things don't happen you will be the first to know. Trust has nothing to do with it!

Remember all the corners where you would drop you call when driving. We all knew where we had to pull over or we'd loose the call, so did you trust BTC????

LNG is methane, and it rises, cooking gas as used in the Bahamas is propane, and it is heavier than air. LNG is much safer, any leak and the gas will rise.

Some people or so uninformed and so committed to finding something negative to write that the forget to learn the facts.

the old saying about keeping your mouth shut, versus opening it and proving you are stupid.

On LNG pipeline plan is madness

After what Adrian told us, opinion was that he was trying to find a way out of the show so he could get on with life since his audience was not really interested or appreciative of his point of view. ,

the Bahamas is a corrupt nation, with corrupt people! No sense in pretending, why not embrace it, it's who "we are".

Do you really believe that a metal casket is poisoning the ground water? What about rebar in concrete, or cars and other objects that are rusting all over the place? Do you think that other objects rusting on the surface are different?
Last I checked iron was from the ground, and is natural.
I'd be much more concerned about your own actions via consumption during your lifetime, (and that of others). Believe me being buried in a metal casket is probably the smallest environmental footprint a person has through the course of their lifetime.

John, hate to be the bearer of bad news, but whatever statistics you read, the front line reality is quite different. I work for a multi national with over 25,000 employees in Canada, and we are experiencing similar problems. Canada's education system is not producing what it used to. In the 60s and 70s our high school educated employees were at a higher standard than the majority of our current college graduate employees. We have branches in 9 large Canadian cities. FYI, we now have to spend on average $13,000.00 to train college grads to fill entry level positions; in contrast during the 60s , 70s and 80s we used to spend under $250.00 CAD. FYI, we are in the financial industry. College grads apparently cant differentiate between cash flow and profit, much less comprehend basic financial reports.

What about the other side of the story for the people who did apply for their citizenship and 10 -15 years later they are still being strung along by immigration. I've me numerous in this situation over the years.

I think if the government was even held the slightest bit accountable (in all ministries) we would not be in this situation.

Our own piss per performance, and our acceptance of the same is our own doing, and our downfall (or at least one of them).
