Blow it out your arse, John ... there’s not a Bahamian on Eleuthera who would call me a racist, and more than a few who would punch your fat nose in for saying so.
If you wanna defend this creep, try watching the Netflix documentary first. Big-time, high-flyin’ “playa” conning folks into spending $10’s of thousands of dollars to attend this fiasco, then claiming “I dinna know nuttin’.”
Hear! Hear! Well said! If you don’t have the guts to put your name on the piece, it should NOT be published. The Tribune’s rapid loss of even the most basic journalistic standards is shocking.
And it’s not just the opinion pieces — their “reporters” these days just seem to base their news stories on whatever they can copy from social media on their iPhones. Horrid!
Yeah, OK, the price of oil, and Venezuela, and all that, yeah, true ... but that doesn’t explain why so many Bahamians have come to believe that they simply don’t have to pay their bills — utilities, credit cards, college loans, whatever.
Seems that everybody can afford cell phones and cars and the latest Miami hip-hop clothing and jewelry and a $200 hairdo, but claim they can’t pay for their water and power.
What IS it about this nation that has led to this belief?
This guy has the IQ of a turnip, he’s a serial liar, and he should be in a prison dungeon with Billy McFarland. (If he didn’t watch the Netflix doc, how did he know of Ms. Rolle’s plight? And while his “heart goes out,” he didn’t mention helping her out with a few bucks. F*ckin’ thief.)
Anybody who pays the least attention ... or even one thin dime ... to this lying, thieving “celebrity” moron gets exactly what they deserve.
Wait a minute ... you mean to tell us that a beer brewed locally cannot match price competition with a beer that is brewed in the U.S., by workers earning U.S. wages, and is subject to enormous shipping costs and import duties? And is not very good to begin with?
Oh, good ... another high-ranking government official being paid a big salary to do ... nothing. Too bad The Tribune could spend 5 minutes researching his salary and publish it here.
