People on either side of this issue are gonna believe what they want to believe. God could conduct a poll and the losing side would dispute His methodology. Polls will not decide the outcome.

You have to admire a political party with the audacity to declare, as its official slogan, that nobody should ever be required to pay their bills.

Why do they call this guy “brave”?

If they do file a lawsuit, it will languish in the courts for 15-20 years in a morass of paper-shuffling and delayed and suspended hearings, while the Nassau lawyers for both sides meet for expensive lunches weekly and discuss how to bleed exhorbitant legal fees from both parties.

OMG ... TigerB, please look at a map. There is no way in Haedes that the land involved is *anywhere *near* as large as either New Jersey or Connecticut, let alone combined. I respect your opinion, and agree with much of it ... but, please, get your geography in order.

Respectully, sir, most people in the U.S. travel more than 45 minutes to reach an airport. My brother lives in a city of 40,000 people and the nearest commercial airport is 2 hours away. I have a home in a major urban area in the U.S. and the airport in *my own city* is a half-hour drive.

There are 3 airports on the island right now, including the one down at Hawk’s Nest.
