For your information, I'm not a pastor, I'm a pharmacist. Furthermore, quoting scripture doesn't indicate that one is holy. You seem to have a problem with me quoting scripture, yet you quoted six. No one's passing judgment, no one's being corrupt, no one's being hypocritical, and religion only refers to one's religious domination. All I was saying is that when one participates in the criminal trade, those actions harm not only him, but his household aswell. Furthermore, anyone can quote scripture to suit their purpose. The bible commands slaves to obey their masters. But does this mean that slavery is acceptable??? Certainly not. Scripture must be taken in the context that it was intended for. That's what I've been trying to explain for the past three weeks. The United States is a global superpower that has been conducting spy-operations ever since the end of the Cold War. In the 1980's the federal government was able to take down organized criminal networks using phone bugs and wire tap services. Furthermore, after the 9/11 attacks in New York City, congress passed a law permitting Homeland Security to access private email and cellular phone accounts: meaning that it now legal for them to listen to phone calls and monitor emails. The United States has been spying on Russia, China, The Middle East, Great Britain, South America, Cuba,.... pretty much the entire world. Yet, the Bahamas with its "drug-running" culture that sits only a few miles off the coast of the US acts surprised when they realized we're being watched aswell. Why are we such an ignorant people??? Do we not follow global news??? Do we really think that the US would spy on their own and not us??? I keep telling Bahamian people.... the United States has been spying on us ever since Sir Lynden Pindling and the PLP embraced the drug culture and allowed Joe Lehder (real name Carlos Lehder) to operate a cocaine hub on Norman Cay Exuma!!! Stop being so gullible and foolish Bahamians!! Fred Mitchell knows the truth. He's just trying to play y'all like some fools!! Furthermore, the US doesn't need anybody's approval to engage in spying, nor are they going to give any answers. They've been doing it for decades, and have become extremely effective at doing it! Don't lose hope. There are a lot of places in the world that are worst than the Bahamas. What we need to do immediately is get rid of all these old politicians who've been around from the stone-age. They realize that it would take longer than their lifetime to correct most of the social ills that we face in the Bahamas today. All they're doing is using corrupt means of securing their retirement by aligning their pockets. They facilitate the bed of corruption that exist in our country because it earns them more money. We as the citizens need to start promoting men of integrity and honesty to replace these political crooks.
