Ohhh geez. Are you even aware of what’s going on? Have you ever heard of infection control? The whole idea is to prevent the spread of the virus by initiating primary and secondary interventions. By doing so, you limit the need for tertiary interventions which (in your own words) may include the need of a hearse. Disease prevention is the name of the game and the whole idea behind disease prevention is to act prospectively rather than retrospectively! And with COVID19 cases beginning to increase within the various schools around the Bahamas, the smart thing would be to suspend face to face lectures when and wherever positive cases are reported! For Gods sake, please stop being so dumb! Smt.

Wow. Not sure what to do here. The truth is, we got caught with our pants down. The MOE along with the government never established adequate internet technology capable of covering a nationwide grid. Unfortunately Cable Bahamas nor BTC have the bandwidth ability to sustain high speed internet across the country. As a result, virtual learning remains almost impossible.

Your only problem is there are those of us out here who are trained in reason and logic. We use inductive and deductive reasoning to assess things along a practical grid against all empirical possibilities. Long story short.... a vote for the PLP at this time would be irrational and nonsensical. Not to mention a total lapse in cognition. We've only just removed the PLP from office four days ago. Why put them back? Our entire world has problem right now and our little country isn’t exempt. We are dealing with problems that won’t do away in four days (years). Nor will they be any better with Fred Mitchell and Brave Davis in office. Our country is dealing with the results of an earth moving hurricane and a deadly pandemic. Please be reasonable and rational.

I think Mr. D’Aguilar is painting a false narrative here. Regardless of a so-called increase in visits, our tourism industry continues to struggle (as expected). Furthermore, once we are out of the pandemic, the government must deal with the undeniable fact that our country is a dump. Downtown Nassau looks horrible.
