While it is definitely silly to make these comments knowing that he is in the Bahamas illegally; this Jamaican man does make a valid point. While I obviously don’t agree with his sentiment that “Bahamians suck and foreigners rule” I must acknowledge the fact that many Bahamians sit around complaining and making excuses for their plight, while foreigners come to the Bahamas and take advantage of job opportunities and resources that are readily available to us. Many of them view us as lazy, lackluster, worthless individuals who lack the competence and ambition to take advantage of opportunities that don’t exist in their country. And it’s true! Too many Bahamians procrastinate waiting on the government to create their sunshine. Get up off your assess and do something for yourselves Bahamians! If we were doing what we are suppose to do, there would be no room for foreigners!
