Same ole hot air from these politicians!! How about actually trying to do something like declaring war on crime! How about seeking international assistance on uncovering the obvious gun trafficking ring that’s taking place here in the Bahamas!! How about investing, training and operating a ballistics lab that will actually seal convictions for all who illegally use firearms!! How about getting rid of the privy council and executing murderers!! We don’t need anymore sympathy and empty condolences from you worthless, careless, politicians!! We need action!!
While the government does deserve it’s fair share of blame for many of the social ills that we face in our country; one individual deciding to murder another individual isn’t one of them.
Evidence gathering is a part of the investigative process. It’s considered a retrospective action. And like I said earlier, police officers can only act in retrospect when it comes murder. You, and others like you are choosing to focus on the secondary and tertiary issues rather than focusing on the primary issues. How can people blame the police if you decide to pick up a gun and shoot me??? That’s foolishness.
Correction. Inadequate government is considered a political problem not a social problem. Civics and politics are two different entities.
What I’m saying is…… if you and I have a disagreement, and you decide to kill me, then that’s not the government’s fault. It’s your fault. You’re the one who broke the law in this case, not the government.
What does the police have to do with one individual turning a gun or a knife on another individual? How about blaming the individual for a change. Stop blaming police and government officials for the actions of others! Blame the perpetrators!
Why do you always tend to blame politicians and police for our high crime rate? Crime is a social problem inwhich much of the blame rests with the general public residing in the Bahamas. We the people are responsible for crime, not the government! Citizens of the Bahamas have a duty and responsibility to obey the law. Police officers and government leaders can only operate in retrospect to criminal activity by arresting, prosecuting and convicting criminals.
Put the blame where it belongs!! We the people are responsible for crime!!
The PLP government is blowing their usual smoke! All talk and no action. The PLP knows that they have no intentions of building a new, state of the art hospital. Who does Mr. Darville think he’s fooling? We’ve all heard and smelled their hot air before. What good does it do to secure funds for a project that is never started or finished!
Hahaaaa!! You’re funny!! Brave an Chester ain paying these people shit!! They already got their vote and the government!! That’s all they wanted from the beginning! Now that they’re in office, they couldn’t care less about these illiterate, bag-totting, fools!!
Ha! That’s good for these slave workers as well as the PLP government!! This is what happens when you play politics! Brave Davis and Chester Cooper campaigned and bamboozled these idiots under the promise that they were a “union friendly government”! Now, in less than one year they’ve both turned on the very same people who were gullible enough to believe them! This is a black eye for the PLP and the Bahamas all together! And trust me, these people will remember this during the next general election!!
Y’all illiterate monkeys get y’all stupid asses back to work!! Das good fa y’all!! Too stupid!! Talkin bout “It’s a new Day”.
Wow! The FNM is in worst shape than I could have possibly imagined. I’m actually very fond of Mr. Micheal Pintard as it relates to his character and personal values. But this latest effort by his administration is down right pathetic. Really FNM???? Is this all you can do??? This same ole nonsense of fingerprinting and politicizing the high crime rate???? It’s become blatantly obvious that the Bahamas is now without an effective opposition. Michael Pintard is clearly out of his league. What a pitiful display of desperation, despair and hopelessness.
